Adults who drink even just one 330ml can of sugary drink a day increase their risk of being overweight by 27%. It’s even worse for children who drink just one sugary drink a day, as this increase their chances of being overweight by as much as 55%. Obesity is linked to life threatening illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke and certain cancers.
